Grable Atomic Bomb Test Weapon Effects
Shot Grable, of Operation Upshot-Knothole was the first and only test of the Atomic Cannon in 1953. Grable, which stood for Gun, was a 15 KT (Kiloton) nuclear artillery shell. Note: this footage has been colorized.
