Supreme Court Nominee Protest - Multiple arrests in NYC

NEW YORK, NY – JULY 09, 2018: SCOTUS protest - Demonstrators rallied near the 5th Avenue Trump Tower in disapproval of President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh who replaces retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. After rallying the protestor’s proceeded to march back-and-forth in front of the Trump Tower building. After marching for several minutes they took to the street and blocked vehicular traffic on 5th Avenue which led to the arrest of seven people according to law enforcement sources. Among those arrested were City Councilman Jumaane Williams (D-Brooklyn), who is running for lieutenant governor and Minister Kirsten John Foy (Northeast Regional Vice President at The National Action Network). #reclaimscotus #scotusnominee (Footage by Tomas Abad/Getty Images).
