Congressman Jeffries press statement on GOP failure to pursue Trump-Russia matters

New York Congressman Hakeem Jeffries says the Republican response to continuing Russian aggression against the United States was woefully inadequate, that House Republicans had failed to read the memo even though it was written by James Madison and the framers of the Constitution, that the house has a constitutional responsibility to protect and defend. But Russia had attacked US democracy and undermine the integrity of the election system, that President Donald Trump, who he calls their boss told Republicans to stand down and the American people had been left abandoned.
