Protesting Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, visit to NYC

NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 20, 2018: In light of the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, visit the White House on March 20, 2018 demonstrators rallied at City Hall in downtown Manhattan to oppose Mohammed bin Salman's schedule visit to New York City on the last week of March. The demonstrators also demand that United States senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Bob Menendez and Chuck Schumer publicly commit to voting for the Sanders-Lee Yemen Resolution. Per the organizer of this event Facebook page MPower Change "This war is creating the world’s worst humanitarian crisis: thousands of civilian deaths, untold hunger, and a cholera outbreak with a million victims in 2017 alone. Both the Obama and Trump administrations have provided critical support to bin Salman’s war, including arms sales, targeting assistance, and mid-air refueling of Saudi bombers. This support has never been authorized by Congress."
