Mandrill - stock photo

One of the interesting things about this photo is that I had to shoot it through a plexiglass window. I avoided reflections by putting the lens (with the lens hood) right up against the glass. So instead of the window being a problem, it worked like I had a filter on the lens (although I'm sure it softened the image a little, after all, this was not a Tiffen or Hoya window). This mandrill looks almost human, especially in the way it posed. This was taken with a Quantaray Tech 10 (made by Sigma) 135-400 mounted on a Nikon D200.
