Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA - March 25, 2024: Looking out the Johnston Gate from within Harvard Yard. The Johnston Gate is one of the several entrances to Harvard University's Harvard Yard in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Completed in 1889, it opens onto Peabody Street just north of Harvard Square. It was the gift of Samuel Johnston (Harvard College class of 1855). In the background is the First Parish in Cambridge, a Unitarian Universalist church located in Harvard Square in Cambridge.
