Door frames are metal with cut wood molding creating the patterned panels and handles formed to state what might be the obvious - pull. The apartment building is one in a row of many dating to the early 1900's, this one characterized by an Art Deco-speakeasy style, though the architecture in the neighborhood is varied - including French and Italian Rennaisance, Viking Revival, Flemish Bond, Beaux Art, Georgian, Edwardian, Deconstructivist, Modern and many others - a veritable poupourri of architectural styles.
