IRAQ-KUWAIT-AVIATION-DIPLOMACY
The first commercial flight from Kuwait to Iraq in 22-years, since the flight path was stopped in the wake of the invasion of the Emirates by Saddam Hussein's troop in the summer of 1990, arrives at the international airport in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf on April 17, 2012. Ambassadors of both countries Iraq and Kuwait were on board the Airbus A-320, belonging to Kuwaiti company al-Jazeera Airways, alongside Iraqi officials and 159 passengers.
