09_21_03__DENVER,CO-- The 28th annual <cq> Home Depot <cq> Governor's Cup 10k and 5k <cq> races took place under beautiful fall-like temperatures. Colorado's Governor Bill Owens <cq> was on hand to urge Coloradoans to participate and show their support for The Children's Hospital <cq>, one of the race's sponsors. An estimated 2,000 runners <cq> participated in this year's race. Aside from the 5K and 10K races, the Governor's Cup also included a 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run around the capitol <cq>.
