Swimmer, Kicker Vencill was accused of taking steroids, based on a trace amount found in a test tak

Swimmer, Kicker Vencill was accused of taking steroids, based on a trace amount found in a test taken at a competition. He proved that a nutritional supplement he d been taking was contaminated with the illegal steroid – even sued the supplement maker and won. They still suspended him for one year, costing him a shot at the 2004 Olympics, saying, in effect, that he shouldn t have trusted that the supplement label was accurate, but should have tested everything he ever took, before he took it.
