Staff and pupils at Millidfields Community School. Photographed to celebrate the recent honour awarded to Anna Hassan, the school's inspirational head teacher, and the school's 110th anniversary. She was made a DBE (Dame of the British Empire) in the Queen's New Year's Honours List at the end of 2005 for her services to education, and can be seen in the middle of the pupils, waving to the camera. The school is situated in Hackney, one of the most deprived boroughs in the UK. This image was made into a small poster distributed to all staff and pupils at the school.
