Falangists Call For The First Homage At The New Tomb Of Jose Antonio Primo De Rivera

The mortal remains of the founder of Falange, Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera, have been exhumed from the Valley of Cuelgamuros and relocated to the San Isidro cemetery in Madrid. It will be his fifth burial since he was shot after being tried by the Republican authorities in 1936 in the prison of Alicante, 86 years ago. The exhumation coincides with his 120th birthday. His family requested the departure of Primo de Rivera before the Valley became a civil cemetery with the entry into force of the Law of Historical Memory.
