Romanian Trade Union members shout anti-governmental slogans and blow whistles during a mass protest in the front of the Romanian Government headquarters in Bucharest on May 19, 2010. Around 40,000 people were expected to take part in a protest against the planned 25-percent cut in their wages, part of an austerity drive that also includes a 25-percent slash in civil servants' wages. The IMF, the European Union and the World Bank last year concluded a 20-billion-euro bailout deal with Romania in exchange for measures to slash public spending. The average monthly pension is currently around 190 euros and the monthly wage around 350 euros. AFP PHOTO/ DANIEL MIHAILESCU (Photo credit should read DANIEL MIHAILESCU/AFP via Getty Images)
