Pope Francis Visits Portugal For World Youth Day

Pope Francis visited Portugal for World Youth Day (WYD) which took place over the first week of August, and according to local authorities brought more than one million and a half young Catholics to accompany the Pope in Parque Tejo and Parque Eduardo VII. Pope Francis traveled around Portugal during his five-day visit holding masses and confessions for young people and meeting Portuguese catholic clergy members, he also visited The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, where he silently prayed for peace in Ukraine.
