Civilians Evacuated From Frontline City In Kharkiv
VOVCHANSK, UKRAINE - MAY 13: Police officer Vladyslav once again was attacked as he drove his car to Vovchansk to evacuate locals from the outer streets of the city on May 13, 2024 in Vovchansk Kharkiv Region, Ukraine. Vladyslav could have died today if it were not for great luck and an armored car, his car was shot at by an enemy sniper. One shot hit the windshield on the driver's side, and several more hit the side and in the area of the gas tank. The Kharkiv coordination volunteer center, together with the national police and emergency services conducted an evacuation from the pro-front city on the border with Russia. Ukraine's defense ministry announced recently that it has sent reinforcements to repel Russian attacks in border areas of the Kharkiv region, in the the country's northeast.
