ENGLAND - DECEMBER 11: A photograph of the town centre in Swindon, Wiltshire, taken by an unknown photographer in May 1937. The streets are decorated with flags, bunting and a giant crown to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI. This photograph is from an album compiled by Kodak Limited to record the coronation of King George VI (1895-1952) and Queen Elizabeth (1900-2002) on 12 May 1937. George VI was the second son of George V and Mary of Teck. In 1923 he married Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who bore him two daughters, Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II) and Margaret.
