Interior Of 1949 Chevrolet Convertible

(Original Caption) In its 1949 models, Chevrolet has relocated driving controls in a manner that promises appreciably to add to the safety and pleasure of driving. Dials are grouped around the speedometer where they may be instantly read. The starter button is on the panel together with light switches and ventilation controls. Also relocated is the hand brake, now conveniently placed at the right of the steering wheel under the dash. Undated photograph, circa 1948.
