Hollywood star Michael Douglas sees a shot going astray on St Andrews Golf Course where he is taking part in the Alfred Dunhill Cup celebrity pro-am tournament. * 18/10/01 Hollywood star Michael Douglas, one of a host of celebrities and some of the sporting world's biggest stars that are taking part in a major golf event. They were gathering for the Dunhill Links Championship being played at three of Scotland's top courses. Other big names such as Samuel L Jackson, Hugh Grant, Ian Botham, Nigel Mansell, Boris Becker, Marco van Basten, Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Bobby Charlton will battle it out on the greens. Celebrities will play alongside some of golf's best-known professionals including Colin Montgomerie, Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood. South African Ernie Els will partner his father Neels, while US Open Champion Retief Goosen will tee-off with his brother Francois. Scot Colin Montgomerie will team up with the owner of the Miami Dolphins, Wayne Huizenga during the four-day pro-am event. Each team will play all three courses at The Old Course in St Andrews, the Championship Course at Carnoustie and Kingsbarns Golf Links.
