Soccer World Cup 1974: Germany vs. Netherlands
German goalkeeper Sepp Maier dives into the wrong corner. The first goal was scored on a penalty by Dutch player Johan Neeskens during the 1974 World Cup final Germany vs. the Netherlands at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany on 07 July 1974. In the end, however, Germany won the game by a score of 2-1 against the Netherlands and thus won the world champion title for the second time.
