(Original Caption) Former Lt. General James H. Doolittle, who lead the first Tokyo raid from the carrier Hornet, has been named Vice President of Shell Union Oil Corporation. He is pictured with Mary E. Gill of Pittsburgh, Pa., who became his secretary when he took command of the 8th Air Force on January 1, 1944. Miss Gill will continue in the same capacity for Doolittle in his civilian work.
