06/21/2006 Farsad Kiani-RAID - Two years after a programmer quit Farsad Kiani's defense contracting firm in Markham and his customer list went missing, and he began getting threatening calls from disguised voices and false complaints called in to various federal agencies, Kianiis now feeling frayed at the edges after U.S. federal agents searched his U.S. subsidiary in Lewiston, N.Y. The culprit, alleges Kiani, is former programmer John Wombwell, a fugitive in the eyes of York Regional Police. Kiani doesn't blame police for following up on the spurious charges but fears in this post 9/11 world, the June 8 search will nevertheless lump him into an unsavory group in the eyes of the public.
