Kyiv Copes With Aftermath Of Russian Missile Strike
KYIV, UKRAINE - FEBRUARY 10: Facade of an 18-story residential building in the Holosiivskyi district and apartment from the 10th to the 15th floors lie heavily damaged or destroyed following a missile's fragment hitting on February 10, 2024 in Kyiv, Ukraine. On February 7, Russia launched a mass missile attack on Ukrainian cities, using cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as loitering munition (known as kamikaze drones). Over Kyiv and the oblast, the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine intercepted about 20 aerial targets. However, fragments of the downed missiles caused damage to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities, leaving 4 dead and more than 40 people injured.
