UNITED STATES - APRIL 04: A cop surveys damage to a police cruiser along 16th Ave. in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn during protests after claims police roughed up an elderly man when busting him during a traffic stop. Cops pulled over 75-year-old Arthur Schick for allegedly talking on his cell phone while driving and say he became belligerent and refused to hand over his license and registration. Witnesses gave conflicting accounts of the arrest but some say cops were too rough on the elderly and hearing-impaired man. Tensions escalated in the Hasidic community and riot police were called in as several fires were set and another cruiser was torched.
