Queen Mary 2 Southampton arrival

Commodore Ronald Warwick (Master of the QE2) and Pamela Conover, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cunard Line, in front of the world's biggest and most expensive Cunard-owned cruise liner, the British-flagged Queen Mary 2, which arrived Friday December 26, 2003 at its new home port of Southampton. The 550 million ship is to be officially named at Southampton by the Queen on January 8 and four days later the 150,000-tonne vessel will leave on its sold-out maiden passenger voyage to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 08/01/04: Commodore Ronald Warwick, the Master of the QM2, which is being named, in Southampton.
