Lies Hebbadj is the spouse of the woman driver who contests a penalty of 22 euros received at Nantes for driving a car with a niqab on the head, Islamic veil which leaves only the eyes. Following this simple contestation of penalty, the interior minister Brice Hortefeux blamed her husband Lies Hebbadj, making the situation of suspicions of polygamy and fraud of social aid in his case. These facts became a political issue that are not proven yet; Lies Hebbadj and his lawyer formally reject these accusations and reserve the right to lodge against the minister for defamation. Lies Hebbadj, muslim 34 years old of Algerian origin, recognizes just have paramours but he adds that it is not forbidden by Islam and that is his private life.
